message from the principal
Kia Ora. Welcome to Corinna School.
Corinna School has been a part of the Waitangirua community since 1967. Located on Kalingo Street with access from Corinna Street and Warspite Avenue, Corinna School is well situated to serve the surrounding community.
Our school motto is “Expect the Best”. You can expect the best learning for your tamariki here. Students and whānau are at the centre of all we do. We also have high expectations of our learners - we know that they come to us with a wealth of experiences, knowledge and ideas. Our responsibility is to nurture and grow each child.
Corinna School is a member of the Porirua East Kāhui Ako - a cluster of schools in Porirua East where teachers and leaders work collaboratively.
Our Kāhui Ako graduate profile is VAI – which stands for Voice, Action and Identity.
Voice - everyone has a voice that can change the way things are
Action - learners make a difference
Identity - know who you are, be who you are and show who you are.
This is what we want for our learners.
Please come and see us – we look forward to welcoming you to our school whānau.
Ngā mihi
